CXMT Forecasts 131-132.5 Billion Yuan Nine-Month Profit, Reversing Year-Earlier Loss

CXMT expects revenue of 265-270 billion yuan and attributable net profit of 131-132.5 billion yuan for the first three quarters of 2026, reversing a 5.28 billion yuan year-earlier loss as AI demand drives a DRAM upcycle. The company disclosed on the same day that its chairman has proposed a share buyback of 1-2 billion yuan.

At OCP 2026, NVIDIA contributed its Vera Rubin rack and compute tray designs to the Open Compute Project through the open MGX architecture, releasing the MGX 1.2 specification with support for 250kW racks, blind-mate liquid cooling and a 5,000A busbar. Zhongxingwei Launches Full-Stack Interconnect Chip Platform, Claims China's First PCIe 6.0 Switch

Chinese interconnect chip maker Zhongxingwei used a Wuxi launch event to show a full-scenario platform spanning general-purpose and AI computing interconnect, saying cumulative shipments top 800,000 chips and 12 products are in volume production. It also signed strategic agreements with seven partners including Kylin, UnionTech, Tencent Cloud, Inspur, H3C, ZTE and Lenovo.

Suanmiao Technology Raises Nearly 2 Billion Yuan in a Year for 3D-Stacked Inference Chips

Beijing AI chip startup Suanmiao Technology has raised nearly 2 billion yuan across four rounds in a year, backed by state investment platforms including E-Town Capital, to develop its 3D-stacked A4E inference chip. The chip taped out in June but remains some distance from mass production and large-scale customer procurement.
