AI Cloud Provider Nscale Faces Former Engineer’s Allegations of Retaliatory Dismissal and Illegal Subcontracting
IT Home reported on October 25 that British AI infrastructure company Nscale has been sued by an engineer who worked at its data center in Norway, according to Bloomberg’s October 23 report. The engineer alleges that the company used an illegal subcontracting arrangement and was involved in wrongful dismissal. The complaint says he worked at the data center through subcontractor CloudBrothers, but that Nscale was his actual employer, in violation of Norwegian law. He also alleges that CloudBrothers fired him after he questioned employment practices at the data center. With support from a local union, the engineer filed suit on October 16 in Norway…
