European CPU startup SiPearl to work with Egis on next-generation Rhea2 processor
IT Home reported on October 25 that European CPU startup SiPearl announced on October 22 that it had signed a strategic cooperation and investment agreement with Egis, a Taiwan-based chip IP and design services company. SiPearl's next-generation Rhea2 processor will use the same architecture as the Mobius100 server CPU, which it is jointly developing with Egis subsidiary Alcor Micro.
